Here at 123 Grow Child Care we understand how important it is to be a sustainably friendly centre and it is for this reason that we incorporate this as a major part of our curriculum. This is why we place a high value and importance on giving children rich, diverse, and warm experiences that promote environmental sustainability.
Our sustainability practices are embedded in our service operations as per the NQS. This is why we think it is crucial to provide our children with sustainability classes. As mother nature is a beautiful thing and by teaching our young generation about the importance of recycling and sustainability we can all look forward to a brighter future.
In order to achieve this we get our children involved in growing vegetables, pot plants, and gardens. We also get them involved in feeding our worm farms and compost bins. We try to keep the learning activity as fun as possible for our bright little minds, and we teach them all this important information through puzzles, role play, and indoor outdoor play.
